Nettles Collective is a beautiful art and ecology-based project led by three women in Amsterdam: Anna-Lina Litz, Leyre Elizalde Araiz, and Estela González López. United by a shared interest in writing and speculating about our own place in “the world of words”, the collective launched this publication on a special occasion: the Reclaim the Seeds market in Amsterdam.
The design plays with words, letters, pictograms, and images, paying tribute to the central theme: NETTLES.
Originally intended to be printed in brown risograph ink (for a sustainable way), the booklet brings together discussions, recipes and deep thoughts across 28 pages.
The team will explore other topics in future editions.
